Suspension medium

The suspension medium is a culture medium which is intended for the preparation of a bacterial suspension for the determination of the minimum inhibitory concentration by a dilution micromethod. The product is supplied in the form of test tubes containing 12 ml of suspension medium. The package contains 50 test tubes for performing 50 tests.

A detailed description of working with the suspension medium and interpretation of test results is part of the work instructions of the respective diagnostic kit.

Test description:

The suspension medium with bacterial culture is used to rehydrate the wells of the microtitration plate of the diagnostic kits of the MIC containing a descending gradient of antimicrobials. After incubation of the samples, the evaluation of the test results is performed.
